RECENT INITIATIVES
Recruiting more women into private equity
The Dutch Academy
Launched in 2021, this annual two-day business programme is for final year female university students. Hosted by Dutch Level 20 sponsor GPs, the Academy introduces private equity as a career option for women and offers the opportunity to acquire both technical and soft skills.
Attendees deepen their understanding of core aspects of private equity investing while building a network of invaluable contacts with senior members in the industry.
The Summer Academy really helped me understand why a career in private equity is a great fit with my skill set. I had not considered it before as I did not know enough about it but now I will definitely apply for a role within an investment team as it is a great mix between financial, strategic and interpersonal capabilities.

The Emerging Talent Programme
Launched to support junior-level women working in private equity, this programme provides individuals with technical training and soft skills. Participants are able to build networks with other women at a similar stage in their career within the industry.
I’ve found the programme unbelievably valuable. Beyond the formal training, the opportunity to meet other young professionals and discuss pertinent issues is such a welcome one.
